Invest in Innovation. Invest in Spiritual Formation. Invest in their Future.
By having a three-day on-site model, Innovate Academy is able to keep its costs lower than many five-day, typical private schools. However, to provide quality, there is still considerable expense involved with running a school.
What if your connections could take Innovate Academy to the next level?
Do you know individuals who would invest in Innovate Academy? By introducing our school to your friends, business partners, community leaders, etc., you could be helping us form the relationship that makes a major impact on the school. If you offer your home or a venue for a gathering, we’ll bring the message and educate others on our vision, our methods, and the opportunities for partnership.
Culture Makers Scholarship Fund
What if Christian Education was affordable?
Education forms and enriches the souls of children (our future leaders); yet for many a truly quality education is inaccessible. By giving to the Culture Makers Scholarship Fund, you can offset the cost of tuition for our young scholars and open the door to those who might not be able to attend. We believe in shaping the next generation so that they become deeply spiritual and entrepreneurial culture makers. If you feel led to change the life of an individual young scholar so they can grow up to impact the world for Christ, please donate to this program today!
Innovate and Beyond
What if your investment could start a school planting movement?
Innovate and Beyond is the fund dedicated to the future of Innovate Academy as a brand and a movement. In fact, we believe that school planting (five days of spiritual formation) is more imperative than church planting (one hour on a Sunday), as the soil (culture) you plant and nourish your child in is the fruit they will become. The vision is to build a culture of “school planting” beyond Chadds Ford. Our first target is local: Chester, Pennsylvania. Our second target is international: Guatemala.
What if you were an investor in the #InnovcateAcademyMovement by making school planting more hip than church planting?
EITC and OITC Tax Credit Programs
What if your philanthropy helped others AND benefited your business?
Did you know that Pennsylvania offers an Educational Income Tax Credit and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit? These programs offer huge incentives to businesses (from small LLCs to major corporations), who use their tax credit toward education. To learn more, read up on all the details below.
PA Tax Credit Programs
If you own a business or work for a participating company, the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs could be right for you. This credit enables the business to invest in Innovate Academy while receiving a substantial tax credit.
Every gift made by a Pennsylvania business through one of these programs opens the door to students with limited financial means. Innovate Academy seeks to offer a high-quality education to everyone, regardless of ability to pay.
What is the EITC program?
The EITC program is a tax credit program. Pennsylvania businesses can support approved scholarship granting organizations (like Innovate Academy) and receive a substantial tax credit.
By making a contribution to Innovate Academy’s financial aid program, a company can receive Pennsylvania state tax credits equal to 75% of its contribution up to a maximum of $400,000 per taxable year. This can be increased to 90% of the contribution, if a company agrees to provide the same amount for two consecutive tax years. The EITC website contains the most up-to-date information including rules, eligibility, and forms.
Who is eligible?
Your business or place of employment must pay one of these Pennsylvania taxes: Corporate Net Income Tax, Capital Stock Franchise Tax, Bank and Trust Company Shares Tax, Title Insurance Companies Shares Tax, Insurance Premiums Tax, Mutual Thrift Institution Tax, or Personal Income Tax of S corporation shareholders or Partnership partners. If so, you are eligible.
How does a business participate?
The application is simple – just one page. The online application and further details of the program are available online – click here for more information. Applications for the EITC are submitted to the Department of Commerce and Economic Development (DCED).
What is the OSTC program?
The OSTC program is a tax credit program. It functions just like the EITC. The difference is that when Innovate Academy awards the scholarship money, it must go to a student living in the boundary area of a “Low Achieving School,” as designated by the state.
Who is eligible?
All the same companies that are eligible to make an EITC gift are also eligible to make an OSTC gift. So, if you want to support Innovate Academy and you pay one of these Pennsylvania taxes — Corporate Net Income Tax, Capital Stock Franchise Tax, Bank and Trust Company Shares Tax, Title Insurance Companies Shares Tax, Insurance Premiums Tax, Mutual Thrift Institution Tax, or Personal Income Tax of S corporation shareholders or Partnership partners — you are eligible.
How do I participate?
The application is a simple, one page document. The online application and further details of the program are available online – click here for more information. Applications for the OSTC program are submitted to the Department of Commerce and Economic Development (DCED).
The application process could not be simpler. Visit the EITC website, or contact Terry Doyle, our Innovate Academy Fundraiser, at 610-505-7047. We welcome your questions, and we hope you’ll find this method of investment as beneficial to your business and company as we find it beneficial to the school.
