Glorifying God Through All Creative Expressions

At Innovate Academy, the Arts are central to our vision for scholar formation. Music, theatre, and visual art work in harmony to help scholars recognize beauty, engage the imagination, and practice disciplined creativity. Each discipline is grounded in historical understanding and hands-on experience, and all three collaborate during our school-wide productions and showcases.

Music: The Conservatory

Children participating in a music class, playing percussion instruments with a teacher in a room with brick walls and large windows.

“When we sing well, we pray twice.”

– St. Augustine of Hippo

Music is woven deeply into the life of Innovate Academy—from Matins and Evensong to classroom instruction, choirs, ensembles, songwriting workshops, and school-wide showcases. We stand in awe of the art of notes that form harmonies, melodies, and compositions that move the soul.

Those who study music open their lives to both discipline and delight. Scholars learn to play in time, blend with others, and develop the expressive skills required for performance. Engaging in music unites the spirit, soul, and body, connecting scholars to God and to one another through creativity and worship.

The center of musical formation is The Conservatory, our dedicated space for rehearsal, composition, and focused instruction.
