With a slower summer pace in full effect, we have some fun reading, math, and screen-free challenges for Innovate scholars of all ages.
Innovate Academy desires to develop good readers. This requires direction, discipline, and diligence. Summer is a leisurely time when children can feel inspired to read. We have created a mandatory summer reading assignment for our scholars in first through eighth grade, it is optional for incoming pre-kindergarten and kindergarten scholars. We hope you will take this assignment and saturate your family with books that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).
We invite you to commit to our other two challenges, math and screen-free, to help your child engage with learning while on break – and to have fun doing it! Each challenge is different with unique incentives redeemable when we return to school in September.
Please note that the summer reading and log are mandatory for all returning and incoming students and need to be brought back the first day of school. The math and screen-free challenges are optional, but we hope all of our scholars participate this summer!
