Art Specialist, PreK–8

Trisha Samuel Taylor is an artist and art educator with nearly two decades of teaching experience. She earned her B.A. in Art Education from Kutztown University and has been teaching since 2006 in both public and independent schools, including the Oxford Area School District, Allentown School District, and The Swain School. Trisha has also been part of the Innovate Academy community during the 2018–2019 and 2019–2020 school years, and she now serves as Art Specialist for grades PreK–8.

As a professional artist, Trisha first opened her studio at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem, PA, in 2012 and now works out of her home studio. She has led children’s ceramic programs at the Community Arts Center in Phoenixville and continues to teach private art lessons. Trisha has experience with a wide range of mediums, including printmaking, painting, drawing, digital art, animation, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and maker space projects, though she specializes in watercolor and charcoal.

Her greatest joy as an educator is curating yearly art shows that celebrate the creativity and individuality of each student.
