Rebecca Peirce

3rd Grade Teacher

Rebecca has over 25 years of teaching experience, including 12 years in public schools and 15 years teaching in homeschool co-ops. She has taught a wide range of grades and subjects, including 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms as well as middle school geography, drama, and American history. Her teaching style emphasizes multi-modal, hands-on learning to meet the needs of different learning styles.

She earned a Master’s degree in Education with a Reading Specialization from West Chester University, along with Bachelor’s degrees in both Elementary Education and English Literature from Gordon College. She is certified in Elementary Education (K–6) and as a Reading Specialist in Pennsylvania.

Rebecca loves children and finds joy in seeing the “lightbulb” moments when learning clicks. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading a good book by the water and playing her flute in the worship band at church. She has also traveled to many countries, including England, Ireland, Mexico, Honduras, and Kenya. Married to her husband, Dan, for 20 years, she is the proud mother of two children, Micah and Liam.
